For a Friend

As you are finding yourself at the lowest point, take heart: you have everything to gain. That is the essence behind the words that follow here, and they're for you specifically - from me to you, some aged blessings. You may not know or care about the person who first spoke them, but that doesn't matter really for now, just take them as you find them.

Take heart, you have everything to gain. x

***

Blessed are those people who grieve;
They will find comfort.

Blessed are those people who are humble;
The earth will belong to them.

Blessed are those people who are merciful;
They will be treated with mercy.

Blessed are those people whose hearts are pure;
They will see god.

Blessed are those people who make peace;
They will be called god's children.

Blessed are those people who are treated badly for doing right;
They belong to the kingdom of heaven.

lizzie. your words made me cry, in a good way. the photograph is lovely but maybe there should be a ray of light at the base of the cloud!

witchita lineman can't be faulted. (that inspires me to do a desert island discs post one day...)

I'm glad they were good tears. One reason the picture speaks is for that great pool of light out beyond the heavy cloud, where the little tiny boat is travelling to. It makes me want to keep my head up and look out ahead, stay on the wing like the seagull!

Blessings repeated as you do your thinking.
